Greetings, when you turn your camera on, check the front of the lens and see if the lens cover is opening completely. The cover should open when the camera is turned on, if it is not, the camera will need to be serviced. If the cover does open when the camera is turned on, press the [Menu] button on the back of the camera. If the menu does not display on the LCD screen, the camera will need to be serviced. If the LCD is not displaying and you wish to send the camera into our shop to be evaluated, I have listed their address below. Please include a note with the camera containing your name, address, telephone number and a brief description of the problem. The camera can be sent to (U.S. only):

The shop will check out your camera and contact you for approval before any repairs our made. If you have an Extended Warranty for your camera, please include a copy of it when you send the camera in.
